First off- I live in an on campus dormitory at Louisiana Tech University. I have called at least
eight times to get my connection diagnosed and fixed. I have even had my work order cancelled twice. I pay for the 8mb package. I have been told numerous times that it's "up to eight meg". I have rarely gotten over 4mb on average. By average, I mean running
speed tests from my
dorm in Ruston, LA to a server on speedtest!.net at least 3 times a day 3 times a week:. Their service is absolutely useless.. They refuse to upgrade my dormitory's
node and allow us to have *** service". It's so *** I could scream,. It's already dumb enough that I have to pay for my own reliable internet service since my university *** us students over by only giving a 45mb pipe of
broadband to about 3,000 students out of a 10gb pipe connected to LONI;. To top of being *** by my university- suddenlink doesn't give a flying *** about my experience with their service and if it weren't for their forced
monopoly, I would certainly be using another ISP!. The guys they send out are incompetent and their management obviously sucks'. I can't wait to move out of Louisiana to another ISP. 35b43ae
