Suddenlink in Carrollton, Texas - Never can get any help on phone

After over an hour on hold I had to drive to their store just to pay my bill. For some reason the automated deal couldn’t process it!!! At first I opted for them to call me back it said 20 minutes but after an hour I called back holding over another hour then just gave up!!! This used to be a friendly helpful company. We need other options this isn’t working!!!

We have basically the same issue. We have not had the cable service we PAID for for a month now.

I am SOOOOO glad that we did not set up an "auto-pay" with them. Knowing FIRSTHAND how difficult it is to address service issues over the phone with Suddenlink, I would imagine that trying to RETRIEVE MONEY FROM THEM WOYLD BE VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE!!!

What a pitiful way to run a MULTI. BILLION DOLLAR company.

Details
First off the free installation is only if you order cable, phone and internet. It took four visits before my service (cable and internet) was completely active and I was charged an additional $60 service fee. The technicians left no information regarding the operation of the equipment. I had to run a cable line in the wall myself and purchase a wifi converter for my PC. My first full monthly bill totaled $230.+, a far cry from the $59 come on. Don't bother trying to call customer (dis)service. It is a waste of time.

These people are *** Idiots truly! They do not care about their customers. Extremely long wait times. Rude awful techs that shouldn’t have a job just to plug in a box to gouge money out of customers. They have a monopoly in this *** podunk town My soon to be ex makes me live: thankfully I’m on my way out and won’t have to deal with them again. Every website this company has the worst reviews I’ve ever seen. They have absolutely no care for customers and don’t deserve to be in business!

Suddenlink in Charleston, West Virginia - Intermittent internet trouble for nearly 3 years! Lousy customer service

Details
I have had short burst internet failures for almost 3 years. Everything in my house has been changed, the pole tap has been changed, the drop has been changed, and still intermittent trouble. The automated customer service number will not allow you to reach a human easily. it automatically reboots your modem without your permission. If you find some way to get to a human it is a person in the Philippines that can't understand what you are talking about and you go through the same vicious cycle each time.

My internet and phone service went out 27 August— took two weeks to reach customer service. Took another two weeks for the service man to come. He said it was a “hub” issue and would be fixed “in a couple of days “. Didn’t happen- still no service. Called on 27 September to disconnect my service . All of a sudden , I was told I would get a credit for the previous month, 1/2 off my monthly bill of $279, for two years AND they would fix the problem that day!!! (Yeah, right). Disconnected anyway, and there was no billing credit , plus I rec’d another month’s service bill, which should cover through NOVEMBER!! And I was also charged for $800 for the equipment. Never, never , never sign up with Suddenlink.

Having the same issue in Lubbock. Service was disconnected in August and they are still billng me, just recieved a bill for November.

An hour and half on the phone with customer service and three other departments, thelast one transferred me back to the department I started with. Still not going to fix the bill.
