ATTN: Suddenlink no longer refunds your bill when you cancel
When Suddenlink's rates on my bill suddenly went up for no reason, I switched to Uverse. I had Uverse installed and I called to have my Suddenlink service turned off the very next day.
I was told that I CANNOT cancel my service until the end of the billing cycle which is a month away. So basically, I have Suddenlink service that I'm paying for but not using for a month because the company is greedy. Suddenlink has a system in which you prepay for service a month in advance. In the past, and with every other cable company, I have been able to get the amount refunded that I don't use.
I don't understand this company's philosophy. Why would you want to screw over a good customer for a few bucks?
The price you pay is that you've lost me as a customer FOREVER and I will tell anyone who will listen - online and in person, friend or foe - to stay away from you. So I hope keeping my money was worth it.
Reason of review: Problems with payment.
Suddenlink Cons: Subpar channel selection, Ineffectual customer service, Dishonest billing practices.
