I recently received a call from the company that the Western Union money order that I paid my bill with was returned to them because it was not any good. I tried to explain to the representative (none of the Representatives speak good clear English) that it was impossible for it to be a bad money order.
I was forced to pay my bill this way because the company didn't accept my credit card. The bill was 127.77 dollars which I only have internet and home phone service with them. Phone service is 10.00 a month only. I was being charged over a 100.00 a month just for the internet service.
I had checked out other companies in my area and was told about the Suddenlink monopoly in my area. No other companies could provide me anything. I called Western Union and was told that my money order was good and it had not been cashed yet. I called Suddenlink back to try using the money order again and then told my bill was now over 400.00 and I could not pay with a money order either.
I told the representative to come pick up their equipment ASAP. I have since received two automated calls from them to which I have hung up on promptly.
User's recommendation: DO NOT USE!!
Preferred solution: Why they refused to accept fault for the problems with payments and the enormous jump in my total bill after I had been a long standing customer of over 4 plus years..
Suddenlink Cons: Charges, Dishonest business practices, Price chnge, Waiting time to get help too high for seniors, Unapologetic.
