Suddenlink - Bait and Trap
We had never considered Suddenlink for internet or phone service in the past, but we decided to give them a chance when they offered faster internet speed than other carriers in our area. When we signed up, we were on the fence about including phone service with the internet or just choosing internet.
The phone service increased the cost by $10 a month. Our sales person told us that we could try it out to see if we used the phone and if we decided we didn't need it, we could cancel the phone and save the extra $10 a month we were paying for our phone. No risk...right? Well, when we decided to call and cancel our phone service because we were not using it wanted to save that $10 we were promised we would save, guess what?
We were "BUNDLED" and we would not save a penny by discontinuing our phone service. Now understand, I asked the sales person THREE times if there was any penalty or increase in our internet cost if we decided to cancel before we signed up, and I was assured there was not!
Not a great way to build a customer relationship - by lying! Very disappointed - disgusted even - with Suddenlink.

Preferred solution: Price reduction.
Suddenlink Cons: Dishonest business practices.
