I was setting up (over the phone) our initial install and negotiated for no installation fees, as they openly advertise "no installation fees" online. I was promised this, and it was agreed there would be no installation fees, so I went ahead and agreed and scheduled the install.

We have been in our new house for exactly 1 month, and we got our first bill today which shows $60 INSTALLATION FEES! What??! I call customer service and of course they show "no record" of the conversations I had about the installation fees, and say the fees are "valid".

This is terrible - of course there is nothing that I can provide other than a cell phone record of the call and my word that I was promised no installation fees. Will be looking to turn off service soon and find someone else if SuddenLink cant somehow make this right.
