Resolved: Suddenlink in Round Rock-Georgetown, Texas - Still billing for disconnected service.

My internet and phone service went out 27 August— took two weeks to reach customer service. Took another two weeks for the service man to come. He said it was a “hub” issue and would be fixed “in a couple of days “. Didn’t happen- still no service. Called on 27 September to disconnect my service . All of a sudden , I was told I would get a credit for the previous month, 1/2 off my monthly bill of $279, for two years AND they would fix the problem that day!!! (Yeah, right). Disconnected anyway, and there was no billing credit , plus I rec’d another month’s service bill, which should cover through NOVEMBER!! And I was also charged for $800 for the equipment. Never, never , never sign up with Suddenlink.

Having the same issue in Lubbock. Service was disconnected in August and they are still billng me, just recieved a bill for November.

An hour and half on the phone with customer service and three other departments, thelast one transferred me back to the department I started with. Still not going to fix the bill.

Finally was able to get someone by phone to complain about the internet being down for a week. Finally resolved today.

While she was on the phone, I talked to her about late fee charges and she told me she was giving me $20.00 credit. I will see if it comes through on...

I have given up hope that SuddenLink cared about a negative review... their business ethic is poor.

It is no wonder that they have such a large turn-over in their workforce.

As of 1/8/2018, a SuddenLink employee finally buried most of the exposed cable on my property that is connected to a home behind my house, on another street. The cable was just buried beneath the soil and not placed in any conduit.
