They are the worst

Got a letter about my security equipment needing an upgrade. I called the number and took a day off to wait for the tech. They sent a guy to replace the cable box. I don't have cable. I called to reschedule and literally spent an hour being tossed around to different people who barely speak English. One tried to upsell my internet service. One told me that I don't have security service. One just breathed into the phone for about 10 minutes. Suddenlink customer service has always been bad. Now it's the worst. I'm quitting.

User's recommendation: Don't bother with them - they are the worst at everything.

SadThe main cause of the issue is that we could not pay our bill, so we were shut off. But unfortunately I've to use this company for over thirty years. That was only the start of the issue, I spoke to a total of five '5" representatives over a two-day period...

Deliver their solution to the issue and stop misleading and lying to the customer.

My wifi is off so i called rep. It feels like i just went thru the twilight zone where do you get these people

So my wifi still off. I think he said saturday someone will be here he has me so nervous he kept repeating the same thing i told him i did that but i guess he didnt believe me when I'll could understand him lord

Price increase

In the 8 years I have been with Suddenlink, (only internet in town), they have randomly increased my monthly charge 3 times. They haven't provided me with any better or faster service. They just want more money. My bill has gone from $50 a month to $122 starting today. However, if I were a new customer, I could get the same service for $45 a month. How is that fair?

Cost for establish customer vs New customer

I called to cancel my cable TV and phone service with Suddenlink since it was getting VERY expensive for just basic cable. I was told that if I do that, my internet service would go up to $154.00 per month. They offer new customers $65.00 per month including the cost of modem rental and that's for unlimited and faster (1GIG) internet than I am getting. I am getting 400 Mbps.

User's recommendation: Cancel your account every year so that don't treat you like an established customer.

Harassment

Suddenlink is THE WORST business ever I dealt with during my entire, long enough, life. I wanted to cancel my services with them. During the cancelation over the phone, they harassed me by asking many questions that were not their business and telling me that they would not cancel my service if I did not answer all of them. It took me half an hour when I finally could cancel their service, no surprise why they are scoring so low.

User's recommendation: Try to avoid Suddenlink-Altice. Make yourself a favor; google about them first.

Rate Jump of $25/month

Rates are regularly rising but I am paying almost $200/month for 150 MBs service. Suddenlink is a poster child for the modern American State-Corpocratic complex that is destroying American.

Trying to get service transferred to new house

Trying for 5 days to get bundled service transferred to new home. Two service installers came to house and couldnt connect us because the cable wasnt connected to cable box at front of house.

Billing

I recently got on a chat site wth Suddenlink and got no satisfaction. I cancelled my service on June 8th and they insist on charging me for service until July 28th.

I was told there was nothing they could do because the account was closed. I told them I was not paying and the problem was with their rep who did not do as i asked in June.

I called and cancelled Suddenlink service on June 8th. I don't know what happened but I keep getting bills. I paid thru the billing cycle ending on June 26th but I keep getting billed for further service. I explained to your rep that we are not at our home for the summer but I was told a Suddenlink rep was there this week to get the equipment. We won't be back home around the end of Sept.You can get your can get your gear then.

Billing Issue / complaint

I would like a supervisor to make contact with me. So I can discuss my issue. Because your representative was rude and disrespectful. And would not allow to speak with a supervisor. Even though I asked several times. When I explained to him that I was being charged for something I never received.

The 64.00 taken off my bill because I never received services and was not told the correct way to handle issue by representative. And apology for the way I was spoken to and deny right to speak with a supervisor.

I should have gotten my rebate card 4 months ago and have called over and over and STILL haven't gotten it
