Pay bill

Customer service rep said she couldn't understand my English I told her I didn't understand hers I've had Bill issues resolved last month or so I tried explaining everything she didn't nderstand at all I've experienced language barriers with the service reps I felt like she was very rude handling herself with the call she kept interrupting me I said be quiet so she muted phone call I kept asking if she was still there she didn't respond I told her she was very unprofessional after several minutes of no response from rep I told her I was going to hang up and find another service rep I'm trying to resolve a payment that said had failed and bank statement it should as paid this was alot of frustration I hope to get Bill issues resolved ty

Ongoing Non resolved issues

I have been with Suddenlink since the beginning of August 2021 by the end of August I started having problems with Internet first service call was the beginning of September technician came out was supposed to have fixed the problem it is now October 17th 2021 and all I get is promises and the problems has still not been fixed also I've had three scheduled service dates and the technicians did not show up did not call did not reschedule and did not leave comments to why they didn't show up or call this is by far the poorest internet service I've ever dealt with.

Fix the problem,,,get more qualified technicians , hold technicians responsible for not showing up or not notifying customers especially after having them wait from 10am to 8pm

Returning equipment

I got no response from the company because they wanted me to pay for the equipment I was returning before the automated system would connect me with customer service. I called every phone number listed with no results. I got an address for the office in my previous city and state and sent it there. I have not heard from them

Got my monies and I'm waiting for SERVICE

I signed up 2 weeks prior, got an appt. for September 16th 2021 to hook up, and then told no service yet on my side of the street. I'd already paid when I signed up. Next day after being told they can't hook me up yet, I get a call to RESCHEDULE MY "MISSED" APPT. It took 4 times to tell this person I didn't miss anything, they did. They came out here again a week ago, Oct. 1st, and it's apparent they cut through an underground line for watering flowers. Nice enough to leave the PVC pipe by the shop for me to find. Then left without another word. NOT ONE WORD FROM THEM AGAIN. They still have my money though.

Cannot reach customer service

I purchased my own tivo but am using suddenlink's cablecard. I have tried for days to get help because the tv stations do not show up. I have paid for a tech to come out and he says he cannot fix the problem because it has to be resolved in the office. When I call to reach someone in tech support I am forced to go through a 15 minute forced routine to fix the problem, which never works.

User's recommendation: Do not go to their office and get a cable card. Have a technician come to your house with a cable card already set up. This has been infuriating and time consuming. I will change to another provider at the earliest possible moment after it is available.

Cable issues

Whatever I tried to do it never let me speak to an actual support from an a person and I keep trying everyday and I really need to talk to someone about my account and not type back and forth. I seriously need to talk to someone!!!

Repairman refused to wear a mask

He arrived, no call ahead of time. Came to door with a trainee and I asked them both to wear masks. Larry the repair person said he didnt believe in masks. Went to his car and got a bandanna but I explained I have diabetes and caregive my 90 year old mom and I had a new, dispensable mask for each. He called his supervisor and told me he wouldnt use any mask product made in China. That he hates China. His attitude was the worst Ive ever encountered and he was training a guy. He said he didnt need my business and sped away.

Service Never Improves

I moved my in-laws from Florida to our neighborhood in Texas. They are elderly and trying to teach them how to use internet TV type services is difficult at best. So we had to turn to cable TV and SuddenLink AKA SuddenStink in our neighborhood. They showed up as scheduled as a new customer. Unfortunately, They brought a faulty main box. The box worked the Cable in the Living room but not the Wifi and apparently they need the Wifi to work for the bedrooms to work also. SO their bedroom did not have TV. The installer said he had to reschedule but there was no room on the schedule for another two weeks. Two weeks? Okay fine. Two weeks went by and the installer got behind and called at 7:30pm to tell us he could not make and he need to reschedule again. Guess what next available was 3 weeks out...What? Wait I am a new customer. Sorry we are busy. COVID. I called Customer Service and they said don't worry you aren't being charged for the Wifi or the extra boxes yet. That was it. And a sorry we are busy. So I called as a new customer, and said I wanted to add a new service. I used my name at the same address. Hmmm...they had an appointment available the next day for new service. I signed up for new service. The installer came out, we told him what had happened, he looked at the box and said the first installer just never programmed the box correctly. It took him 15 minutes and we were up and running. That is SuddenStink.

Difference in cost of service

Talked to salesperson, $160.00 quote. She sent email for $179.00. Was to have a callback. Didnt happen. So I went on line for a price for life. After adding all the extras, receiver ie... The price I got was 149.99. Called back and was told that the $179.00 was the right price. So because they wouldnt give me the lower price. I canceled the install. The installer showed up any way. Then I went on line again and ordered another package. They gave me an install for January 29 2021. My question is when you advertise $80. For life plus $35 for premium channels, plus $17. for TiVo, $10, for WiFi, $6.99 for in home protection plan. All adds up to$148.99. So why are the salesperson pushing $179. + ?

Slow internet pay for 100 get 30 if lucky

After going through3 customer service reps each of whom assured me the problem was fixed, I finally reached one who asked how old my modem was. Told him it was one from them, and I had it since we moved. He checked and said it probably needed to be upgraded. Chose to purchase my own and will send theirs back. No problems with getting at least 60 on speed tests and usually 80 to 90. I can live with those numbers.

User's recommendation: Keep calling til you get someone who first speaks clear English and second knows what they are talking abour!!

Automated phone system

Called 5 times in one day requested a call back twice,never did get the call back.this is not new,to them you are just a number.would I recommend them,not on your life. Internet as reliable as a flight being on time,with speeds faster then dial up not much faster.

Could not contact suddenlink. 4 hours on hold

Was on hold 4 hours. Someone did contact me and got cable back on but still have troubles. I could not understand the person that called finally so did not get all my problem taken care of.

Big cable hanging down in alley. Told it was suddenlink. Need it out of the way before I drive through it.
