Extension

I called on Friday because I was hospitalized for covid and ask for an extension til DEC 3, and they said yes but this morning I came home, and it was temporary off I told them I get my check 3rd, and I was paying 120.00, but it was off .and I am school can't do my homework. Please can they connect my service back and Friday like I told them Nov 24 I pay DEC 3 120.00i.

No service, no Internet

Failure to call before arrival

No internet service

After navigating through the auto answering maze was able to speak with a real person. She scheduled a tech to come out to our location today after sending a test signal to our router/modem combo which indicated signal leakage in our cable line.

Hung up on 3 times

I know you do not want lengthy hold times. That explains the hang up. I was on the phone and internet for 50 minutes. I was trying to end cable service, and keep phone and wifi. Simple right? WRONG!

My remote control is getting hard to change channels.

I cant get my remote control to change channels. Sometimes it takes two to three tries. I sometimes have to hit it to work.

Service

I have tried multiple times to call to talk to someone and have gotten hung up on. I'm trying to get an issue resolved. My services were installed on the 1st of June, I was told by the tech that came out that there was a signal issue and that the maintence crew would come fix it so someone could come back out and finish pairing everything up. I don't have tv in my bedroom because of this and I want it fixed. Please do what you have to do to fix this.

Charges

I called to have my service disconnected last month (MAY) and was told it would be disconnected June 20th. After arguing with the representative that I want it off, like the next business day, she insisted that it would be June 20th. I asked to speak to her supervisor and she insisted she was the best person to speak with. This went on for a bit. So I guess I'll be paying $200+ for service at an empty house.

Quickly increasing bill

Retention dept. lowered monthly bill, not as much as I would have liked, but unfortunately there are no other options where I live.

User's recommendation: Call 11 months into billing and they can prevent some increases.

Very unprofessional costumer service representative

I spoke with a representative named Cathrine regarding my modem issue. Cathrine made me feel like I was useless with technology and not able to complete my role as a customer to fix the issue. Cathrine made me feel that because I am the female in the house that I was incapable of fixing the issue on my end. Cathrine kept talking over me, I felt like she wasn’t listening to my concerns. Cathrine hung up on me. At the end of the call, when I was asked if I needed assistance with anything else, I answered yes. Cathrine refused to help me and hung up the phone. Cathrine was very belittling and un professional. Catherine showed me that she has a rude attitude and is not a fit employee for such a customer service related position. I hope that suddenlink is able to resolve this issue with Cathrine and that she never treats another customer or person like that again. I am looking to switch to direct TV because I have read very good reviews on their customer service representatives. I will continue to pursue this complaint until it has been addressed with Cathrine.
